Sculptra
Beautiful for: Improving firmness, restoring support, softening the signs of collagen loss and creating gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation. Sculptra works by stimulating your own collagen production — so the results build beautifully over time.
The Collagen Comeback
Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable designed to work with your skin, rather than simply add volume. Made from poly-L-lactic acid, Sculptra gradually encourages your body to produce more of its own collagen, helping to improve firmness, structure and facial support over time.
At Ivy Clinic we use Sculptra for clients noticing age-related volume loss, skin laxity and reduced firmness through areas such as the cheeks, temples, jawline and lower face. Results develop slowly and naturally, making it a beautiful option for anyone wanting subtle rejuvenation without looking “filled”.
We use Sculptra for clients who are noticing:
- Loss of facial volume and support
- Softening through the cheeks and jawline
- Reduced firmness and skin resilience
- A tired or less defined appearance
- More general signs of facial ageing rather than one specific concern
Sculptra is a great option for clients who want a gradual, long-term approach to facial rejuvenation. Rather than focusing on one line or feature, we use it to support the face more globally — helping to improve overall balance, firmness and structure over time.
It can be especially appealing for clients who want the benefits of injectable treatment without the immediate volume or sculpting effect of traditional filler. Because the result develops progressively, the change is often subtle and very natural-looking.
At Ivy Clinic, Sculptra can also be used alongside treatments such as Botox, Profhilo, Sunekos and other skin treatments as part of a personalised plan. Each treatment has a different role, and combining them thoughtfully can often give a more complete result.
As always, our approach is conservative and considered. The goal is not to change your face, but to help you look fresher, firmer and more supported — while still looking completely like you.
Which skin booster is right for me?
Sculptra
Best for improving firmness, facial support and age-related collagen loss. Results build gradually as your own collagen production is stimulated.
Profhilo
Best for hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality. A beautiful option for crepey, dehydrated or ageing skin that needs more bounce and glow.
Sunekos
Best for fine lines, texture and delicate areas, particularly where the skin is becoming thinner or more fragile.
All three treatments work differently, and sometimes the best result comes from combining them as part of a personalised skin and injectable plan.
Tell me about Sculptra
How does Sculptra work?
Sculptra is a collagen biostimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It works by encouraging your body to gradually produce more of its own collagen, helping to improve facial support, firmness and skin quality over time.
When will I see results?
Sculptra is a gradual treatment, so results are not immediate. Most clients begin to notice changes over the following weeks and months as new collagen develops.
How long do results last?
Results can last up to two years, although this varies depending on your age, skin quality, lifestyle and individual treatment plan.
How many treatments will I need?
This varies from person to person. Some clients may achieve their desired result with fewer treatments, while others will benefit from a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart. Your nurse will recommend a personalised plan for you.
How much Sculptra will I need?
Most Ivy Clinic clients will require one vial per treatment, although some may benefit from two depending on the areas being treated and the degree of correction required. Sculptra Skin is $800 per vial. The Sculptra Skin, Volume & Lift is a 2 vial treatment at $1400.
Is there any downtime?
You may experience temporary swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising following treatment. Initial fullness immediately after treatment is also normal and will settle as the fluid used to prepare Sculptra is absorbed.
What is the aftercare?
Massage is an important part of Sculptra aftercare. You will usually be asked to follow the 5–5–5 rule: massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. Your nurse will provide full aftercare instructions.
Is Sculptra the same as dermal filler?
No. Dermal filler adds volume directly and generally gives a more immediate result. Sculptra works by stimulating your own collagen production, so the result develops gradually and is more focused on improving facial support and structure over time.
What is the cost?
Sculptra Skin is $800 per vial. Most Ivy Clinic clients will require one vial per treatment, although some may benefit from two depending on the areas being treated and the degree of correction required. We also offer Sculptra Skin, Volume & Lift which is a 2 vial treatment for $1400.
How long will the treatment take?
Please allow approximately 70 minutes for your Sculptra appointment. This includes consultation, assessment, treatment planning and the treatment itself.
