Appearance Medicine consultation
An Appearance Medicine consultation of typically 30 minutes is booked with our nurse and there is no fee. An Appearance Medicine consultation is a time to discuss your skin type, address a particular skin concern or to discuss a cosmetic procedure/treatment that you have heard of and may be interested in.

Appearance medicine consultations are for:

  • Botox®, Dysport
  • Dermal Fillers
  • Facial Peels
  • Dermal Needling
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Skincare

You will be given printed information about the products and procedures discussed to take home. Once you have read through this, we will make an appointment for treatment and at this stage you will be consented for the procedure, ensuring you have had adequate time to become fully informed.  You are always able, and encouraged to ask questions at any stage.

Arrival Time for Cosmetic Treatments

Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for your appointment as arriving late will not only lessen your time spent with us, but the effectiveness of your treatment also. In some cases your appointment may need to be rescheduled to another date and time. As a courtesy to all our clients, treatments are completed as scheduled.

Cancellation Policy

Can we please remind you to give us at least 48 hours’ notice should you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment? We understand that things can change any minute and that sometimes it can’t be helped. Last minute cancellations can be difficult to fill as we all need to allow time to prepare our days and for many that means planning ahead. Ivy Clinic does not wish to charge penalties for late cancellations but due to an increasing number of very last-minute cancellations or no shows we advise that in the event that your appointment is not able to be refilled there will be a single charge of $50.00. We thank you and are grateful for your understanding and support.


We will take reasonable care to ensure the information presented in our website is accurate and the opinions given (if any) are fair and reasonable. We cannot and will not be held responsible for errors or misstatements or be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss or damage caused (whether direct, indirect, consequential, special, or loss of profits). If you feel any of the information contained on our website is misleading or inaccurate, please bring it to our attention immediately.

We supply goods and services in New Zealand, so all goods on our website are advertised in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%. We reserve the right to change advertised prices at any time.

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available and are valid for one (1) year from date of purchase for the amount specified.

Gift vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other special promotions or offers. They cannot be refunded. No change or credit can be given.

Special offers or promotions that appear at times may only be redeemed until the date specified. Other conditions may also apply.
